Richmond RCMP seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. Shing Wai Wong is wanted on multiple charges including Fraud Over $5,000, and Identity Document offences. Despite all efforts, Richmond RCMP have been unable to locate and arrest Wong.

Richmond RCMP Economic Crime Unit (ECU) initiated this investigation in January of 2024. The investigation reached a critical point in April 2024, when Richmond RCMP ECU obtained search warrants for two properties, resulting in two individuals being arrested, including Shing Wai Wong.

On October 23, 2024, charges were laid against three suspects involved in this alleged fraudulent bank draft scheme targeting automotive businesses and individuals in the Lower Mainland. Two of the three individuals have been arrested, however, Wong remains outstanding.
