Investigating collision involving pedestrian

Shortly after 10:00 am on November 19, 2020 Richmond RCMP responded to the 9400 block of No 1 Road for a collision involving a pedestrian.
The male pedestrian was struck as he was crossing Pendlebury Road at No 1 Road. The pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision.
The male was transported to a local area hospital and is in serious condition.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
Neither speed nor impairment are considered a factor.
Richmond RCMP are actively investigating this collision.
